Mom thought she would be right on top of things this Christmas and had everything mailed by December 13th. Today (December 21st) she learned that Dave and Irene who live 3-4 hours away by car haven't received what she sent them. What's up?!
Last Sunday Mom and Dad decided to wrap the gifts and get that over with. Mom had stashed all the boxes under the bed for this occasion. The first box I pulled out was from Amazon. Every year Mom orders chihuahua calendars for Dad and her. Whoops! She opened the box and Amazon had sent 2006 calendars. Bah! Humbug! Mom went to Google and found a place in New Hampshire "Schatzi's Treasures" that sold dog and cat trivia. She ordered two calendars. Early the next morning we received a call from the New Hapshire people. Mom had given them the wrong street number. She corrected that and told them that she wasn't in a hurry for the calendars---so to wait till after Christmas to send. Can you imagine my surprise when the postman delivered the calendars this afternoon? Meanwhile---people close by aren't getting their stuff. What's up?!
